Dear friends and valued customers,

 

Today we are announcing that after eight years of supplying internationally-certified organic produce, Adams Organic will be shutting down at the end of August 2017. We are proud of the community that grew to support us, and are happy about the expanding awareness in Thailand regarding the benefits of eating local, clean, and minimally-processed foods.

 

Although there is a growing demand in Thailand for organic produce, we failed to maintain a sustainable business model.  Our parent company, Adams Enterprises Limited, will focus on its core business of Adams Seeds, and expand its production in Thailand of certified organic hybrid seeds for commercial export.

 

Adams Organic’s last CSA home deliveries will be on 24–25 August. Our Saladaeng retail store will close after Friday 25 August. Our last wholesale deliveries will be on Saturday 26 August.  After that time, our inventory at supermarkets will be limited to the remaining supply on hand. CSA customers with prepaid accounts will have their remaining balances refunded.  Those with credit from past purchases can use them in our remaining two weeks of operation.

 

We cannot thank our supporters enough for trusting our produce to be a part of their homes and businesses.  We are grateful that many of you have recommended us to your friends and family.  For alternative suppliers, we can refer you to shopping guides that have recommended Adams Organic as well as some of our competitors. The Bangkok Healthy Living group on Facebook is also a valuable resource for ideas on healthy food sources.
